PERSONAL STYLIST TRAINING
This exciting programme can be attended by anyone who wishes to become a personal stylist. It is also ideal for retailers, clothing designers, fashion students, beauticians, hairdressers, and professional coaches who wish to offer personal stylist and image services to their clients. Attending the Personal Stylist training will enable you to offer your clients services including styling for special events, style consultations, personal shopping experiences and wardrobe audits. We want you to be able to offer a world-class service that will encourage your clients to return to you time and time again, and for them to help promote your business through word-ofmouth. This course is interactive and uses a variety of training methods to develop and build your confidence. Your course will include a shopping trip to demonstrate the clothing lines and personal shopping techniques. You will also get the opportunity to work with volunteers and conduct three style consultations. Taken in isolation, this course is for those wanting to create a business independent of the resources and branding of colour me beautiful. However, if you feel that you need the power of the international brand of colour me beautiful behind your business and receive enquiries from being listed on our website then you will need to attend our Colour training in addition to this programme.
Who will benefit?
Anyone who wishes to have a career as a personal stylist independently of colour me beautiful or who wishes to attend this programme as part of the full qualification to becoming a recognised colour me beautiful image consultant.

What are the learning outcomes?
By the end of the course you will be able to:
● Explain the elements of a well dressed woman
● Identify and describe the key attributes of each style personality
● Understand the Munsell theory of colour analysis
● Determine dominant colouring types and advise your clients accordingly ● Analyse your client’s face shape to give advice on hairstyle, glasses and make-up ● Understand the seven body shapes and how to recognise them ● Understand the golden rules of clothing lines for each body shape ● Identify the importance of scale, height and proportions and their relevance to each other
● Know the process for conducting a style consultation and be able to use the colour me beautiful Style Workbook to support this
● Understand your own personal image and learn how to dress yourself to have maximum impact as a personal stylist
● Recognise the benefits of running a Style Update and understand how to conduct one ● Be confident in applying your skills after working with volunteers and partaking in a personal shopping expedition ● Research and interpret fashion trends when giving advice to clients.
