_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (IQCC) - STATE OF OHIO

The National Joint Powers Alliance® (NJPA) issues this Invitation To Bid (ITB) on behalf of, and to provide Indefinite Quantity Construction Contracting (IQCC) services to NJPA, current and potential NJPA government, education, and non-profit Members in Ohio. It is the intention of NJPA to award contracts for Open Market General Construction in all and MBE Set Aside in Zones 2 (NW OH) and Zone 3 (Cent OH). Each contract has an initial term of one (1) year and bilateral option provisions for one (1) additional term. The estimated annual value is $2,000,000. The total term of the contract cannot exceed two (2) years. IQCC also known as Job Order Contracting (JOC) is a contracting procurement system that provides facility owner’s access to “on-call” contractors to provide immediate construction services over an extended period of time for projects not typically covered under Ohio Revised Code (ORC) Chapter 153 and/or repair and maintenance projects. Projects that fall under ORC 153 and in excess of $200,000.00 for agencies without administrative authority are pre-approved on a case by case basis by the Department of Administrative Services. Intending bidders are required, to attend a pre-bid seminar which shall be conducted for the purpose of discussing the IQCC procurement system, the contract documents, and bid forms. Attendance at one of the seminars is a mandatory condition of bidding.

An additional Pre-Bid will be held on September 28, 2012 at 10:00 EDT via a Webinar hosted by NJPA. The Webinar will include both the Open Market GC and MBE Set Aside contracts. The Webinar will require the Contractor to pre-register at: www.njpacoop.org/construction-procurement-simplified An electronic (CD) copy of the ITB Documents which include the instructions for submitting a bid and the bid documents may be obtained by letter of request to Gregg Meierhofer, NJPA, 202 12th Street NE, Staples, MN 56479, or by email request to [email protected]. All requests must include mailing address, email address, contact name, phone number and which bid; Open Market GC or MBE Set Aside you are requesting. Bids are due by 4:00 p.m. CDT on October 9, 2012 and will be opened at 9:00 a.m. on October 10, 2012. ITB Documents will be available until the bid opening date of October 10, 2012.
