Pete Moreno, IV

Pete Moreno, IV Cornerbacks Coach Moreno has been coaching for 14 years. This is his eighth year at LBJ where he serves as the Cornerbacks coach, PE department chair, and head softball coach. He attended Texas A&I University and Texas A&M Corpus Christi where he received his BS in Kinesiology. Afterwards, he coached at West Oso-Corpus Christi High School and Johnston High School (now Eastside Memorial). He and his wife, Velma, have been married for 19 years and have three children – CJ (23), Desiree (20), and Mark (18). Desiree plays softball at Whittier College in California while Mark is currently a freshman at Arizona State. Coach Moreno enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
