Application and Entry fee must be received or postmarked by August 12th for full consideration. Petoskey Youth Soccer Association is pleased to announce the Petoskey Autumn Blast Tournament. The Michigan State Youth Soccer Association has sanctioned this tournament. Tournament dates are
September 12-13, 2015 PYSA, in cooperation with the City of Petoskey Parks and Recreation Department invites your team to apply to participate in this event. We invite you to come north for great soccer competition and enjoy a weekend in the Petoskey area. Competition will be offered in the following divisions: Boys: U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U19 Girls: U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U19 Mens Division Womens Division Awards: Player awards will be given to first and second place teams in U9-U19 age divisions. U9-U12 teams will all receive individual participation medals as well. Rules: FIFA rules will apply to all games. Tournament rules are available at: www.petoskeysoccer.com Minimum number of games: Each team will be scheduled for at least 3 games. Tournament officials reserve the right to shorten, postpone or cancel any game due to inclement weather or unplayable field conditions. Playing Divisions: U9 and U10 will play 7v7, U11 and U12 will play 9v9, and U13-U19 will play 11v11. U9/10 Roster Max 14 players U11/12 Roster Max 16 players U13 and up Roster Max 18 players
Coach Conflicts: Coaches will be guaranteed two (2) non-conflicting team schedules. If the coach is coaching more than two teams, we will do the best we can to arrange schedules accordingly to TRY to avoid conflicts. This is not always possible with multiple teams. Please have an assistant available to step in. Teams and Rosters: All teams must be affiliated with their appropriate governing soccer body. U9 and U10 will be allowed 14 players and U11 and U12 will be allowed 16 players. U13-19 teams can roster 22 players, however only 18 players may play in any one given game. All guest players must have a valid player pass card, a current medical release form and the MSYSA approved guest player form. MSYSA guest player registration can be done at www.michiganyouthsoccer.org At coach registration, coaches or team representative must present player pass cards, current medical release forms, an official roster and a tournament roster. Hotel Arrangements: Inquiries regarding housing may be directed to the Petoskey Area Visitors Bureau. Their toll free number for area accommodations is: 1-800-845-2828. Risk Management: All Michigan coaches are required to show their risk management card prior to coaching in this tournament. A maximum of three (3) coaches/trainers/managers will be allowed on the player’s sideline and must be listed on your tournament roster.
