Almighty God, in the birth of your Son you have poured on us the new light of your incarnate Word, and shown us the fullness of your love: help us to walk in his light and dwell in his love that we may know the fullness of his joy; who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Post Communion Prayer Heavenly Father, whose blessed Son shared at Nazareth the life of an earthly home: help your Church to live as one family, united in love and obedience, and bring us all at last to our home in heaven; through Jesus Christ our Lord. There are two more meetings of the Tuesday Advent/ Christmas Group, looking at themes in Mark’s gospel, on 3 and 17 January, 7.30 pm in the Vicarage. All are welcome to come along.  We are delighted to have new altar frontals given by Mary Bullass and Jean Brisland in memory of Mary’s late brothers, Rev Leslie Ward and Norman Ward , and Jean’s late husband Tom Brisland. Thank you so much for this generous gift to St. Thomas Church!  Confirmation Group Pilgrimage to Bury St. Edmunds Cathedral on Sunday 15 January to join the Epiphany Carol Service at 3.30pm, followed by a tour of the Cathedral with the Canon Pastor.
