In this micro-course, students will hone their sentence completion strategy, first reviewing how to anticipate correct answers for sentence completions, then practicing process of elimination to get rid of wrong answer choices and determine the correct answers. This micro-course will cover both oneblank and two-blank sentence competitions. !

Sentence Completion Strategy
The Strategy – Take CARE! ! Cover:! Cover the answer choices with your hand.! ! Anticipate:! Anticipate a word that could fill in the blank. Don’t be too picky! And don’t be afraid to use the words from the sentence.! ! Reveal:! Once you have a word in mind, uncover the answer choices.! ! Eliminate:! Eliminate answers that do not work with the word you anticipated. If there are two blanks, do them one at a time, beginning with the one you find easier.!
