1. READ – Use your grammar ear. Does anything just sound wrong? If so, you’ve found your error.! 2. CHECK THE BIG 2 – Identify verbs and pronouns. Are they used correctly? ! 3. ELIMINATE – Eliminate the underlined parts that are definitely correct. Go through the checklist of common rules (which we’ll review in class).! 4. RELAX – Don’t force yourself to find an error. If you can’t hear one and have checked all the underlined parts for mistakes, it’s probably a “No error.”!
