Pfirecracker Mountain Bike Race Saturday July 13, 2013 Castlewood State Park Race will use trails in the main part of Castlewood State Park Races results will be combined with Dirt Crit Series Points for an overall summer 2013 Champion Cat 3 = Cat C Cat 2 = Cat B Marathon & Cat 3 Start 9:00 AM Cat 1 = Cat A Kids Race 10:30 AM Cat 1, Cat 2 & Singlespeed Start 11:00 AM Race Categories Cat 3 (Beginner): Men, Junior; Women 2 Laps
Payout and Prizes: Cash Payout for Marathon, Cat 1
Cat 2 (Sport): Men, Junior; Women 4 Laps
Prizes for top finishers in each overall race group
Cat 1 (Expert): Men. Junior; Women 6 laps Marathon: Men Open, Women Open 3 hrs Singlespeed: Open 4 Laps
Fees: Kids Race – Free (1-2 mile course using the flat trails, i.e.-Dirt Crit Loop) Junior - $10 Cat 2, Cat 3, Singlespeed, Marathon - $25 Cat 1 - $30 Preregister Online and Pay on Race Day: Pay on race day – Cash/Check Only Registration Opens 8AM, Closes 15 mins before each race. $5 service charge for race day registration (Except Kids/Juniors) $3 / racer park usage fee included in registration fee
Directions: From the south on I-44 or I-55 Take the Hwy. 141 exit and travel north on Hwy. 141 to Big Bend Road. Turn left onto Big Bend Road and travel west to Ries Road. Turn left onto Ries Road and continue until reaching the park entrance at the intersection of Kiefer Creek and Ries roads. From the north on U.S. Hwy. 40/61 Take the Clarkson exit (near Chesterfield Mall) and travel south. Clarkson crosses Manchester Road and becomes Kiefer Creek Road which leads into the state park.

Pfirecracker Race Parking is allowed at: •Main Shelter where registration is located •Shelter on the opposite side of the field •Overflow parking lot past the rail road tracks (ie-2012 dirt crit field) Marshalls will be monitoring parking to insure racers park in designated areas
