Closing Date: Position open until filled Position Description The Communication Coordinator (or Associate Director of Communication) fulfills the mission of Phi Kappa Tau through duties in the areas of communication and marketing planning, content management, publications (including Phi Kappa Tau’s magazine, The Laurel) and department management. It will work collaboratively with all Fraternity and Foundation departments and volunteers. This position reports directly to and is evaluated by the Director of Development and will participate in the annual evaluation and review process. General Duties      

Communication/Marketing Planning Electronic Media Journalism Website Development and Support Project Management Supervision of full-time and part-time employees

Experience, Skills and Competencies      

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent prior experience Strong verbal communication skills and an ability to write clearly and persuasively Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong sense of organization and attention detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team General knowledge of fraternity/sorority operations
