VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN INFORMATION All volunteers need to check–in at the Volunteer Check–in booth at the LIVESTRONG Village UNLESS DIRECTED OTHERWISE. It is recommended that volunteers arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their assigned time to allow for check-in and further instruction. In most cases volunteers can check–in up to a day in advance to receive tshirt and information about the weekend. If you have any questions DURING EVENT WEEKEND (Thursday through Sunday), please call 1.888.424.2553 and choose Option 6 to be connected to the Volunteer Manager.

POSITION SPECIFIC INFORMATION (COURSE MARSHALS, MEDICS, AND POWER STOPS) Course Marshals Course Marshals will be stationed at a particular location on the route to assist riders through turns and difficult areas. These positions may be staffed by one or multiple persons. The position’s main focus is on participant safety with a secondary role in support of other staff if the need arises. All marshals will be transported to their designations via the Challenge marshal van. A Marshal Captain will support your position to answer any questions and assist you as needed. Course Marshal Volunteers will meet with Marshal Captains at the Volunteer Check In at the Load Lot (see parking map) the day of the event and will have an orientation meeting at 6:30AM. The National Course Marshal Coordinator, Lesley Pickett, will provide specific updates to course marshals in subsequent emails. Your medical supply tub, tent, table, cot(s), chairs and ice cooler will be at the Power Stop when they arrive on the box truck. SAG Drivers (Medical and Non-Medical Drivers) Sunday – please report by 6:15 AM to the SAG Vehicle Staging Area on the load lot located on campus (see parking map). Your SAG Vehicle will be equipped with a medical supply tub and other items you may need while on the course. Cycling Medical Volunteers Sunday – Please report to the main medical tent located near the start/finish line at 6:30 AM Sunday morning to pick up your medical backpack.

Venue Medical Volunteers Sunday – Please report to the medical tent on campus just west of the start line by 7:00 AM to be assigned your position providing medical support.
