Construction dates: July 2009 – June 2010 Westminster City Council carried out works to improve the streetscape of Piccadilly Circus. The works were carried out in conjunction with TfL and the London Bus Priority Network and included the following improvements: • Introduction of a TfL bus contra flow lane • Introduction of two new pedestrian crossings • Upgrade of some footways with natural stone paving • Improved traffic signals
