TWENTY-SIX NEW PEARLS JOIN TRI DELTA
After a long week of recruitment, the Phi Alpha chapter has 26 Fall Break- October 14-17 amazing new members. The Date Night- October 28 pearls were celebrated with a paradise themed bid day. The Initiation- November 4 girls then went through the pearl Sincerely Yours- November 5 ceremony at the Tri Delta house. Two weeks later the new members received their sponsors or “bigs.” We are so lucky to have such an incredible group of young women added to our chapter! We would also like to thank all the alumnae who donated any money or food to our bid day. A special thanks to Jessica Hogshead for hosting the lip sense party benefiting our recruitment. Kara Morris Interns in Washington D.C. Kara Morris is interning this fall semester in Washington D.C. for the State Department in the Bureau of International Organizations in the office of UN Political Affairs. Her favorite part about living in Washington D.C. is knowing that when
she sees people on the train or walking around the city, that whatever their job is, they are making a difference working for the government or in their private sector. Kara just returned home after spending her spring semester abroad in Morocco. We are so lucky to have such an ambitious gal in our chapter!
Spotlight Sister Megh Megh Kumar is from Louisville, Kentucky and is a Sophomore studying psychology with a focus in pre-med and a minior in chemistry. Her favorite Tri Delta memory is spending time with her sisters at the sisterhood retreat playing various games. A fun fact about Megh is that her favorite city is Moscow, Russia, where she went this summer. Megh serves as our academic chairman in our chapter. Thank you for all your hard-work and dedication in our chapter with your bubbly personality, Megh!

UPCOMING ALUMNAE EVENTS & NEWS HOMECOMING Homecoming festivities are taking place on Saturday October 7, 2017. The parade will begin at 8 am. Shortly after you are all invited to come to the Tri Delta house for some refreshments from 10 am- 12:30 pm. FOUNDER`S DAY Mark your calendars, Founder`s Day is taking place on November 12 at Tamaron Country Club.
