Pipe Creek Elementary PTO Newsletter September 2015 Next PTO Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 10th at 6p.m. at Pipe Creek with safe and reliable childcare provided by Maconaquah HS National Honor Society students. While our awesome Braves at Pipe Creek have been getting back into the groove of school, the PTO has been busy planning some fun events for our kids, teachers, and Pipe Creek families! Here are some things we have been up to: •Hosted the first Scholastic Book Fair of the year, raising $1500 in scholastic dollars which will be used to buy books for our library. A $10 gift certificate was also given to each teacher towards books for their classrooms. •We have had two Popcorn Fridays this year so far! The kids, teachers and staff love the popcorn! th
•Planning the Nelson’s Port-O-Pit Chicken fundraiser set for Saturday, September 19 at the Peru Kroger parking lot. •Volunteers have been collecting and counting Campbell’s Label and Box Tops for Education. Keep sending those labels in to school! Watch for a contest coming soon! Upcoming Important Dates
