LIBRARY BOOKS Your child will continue to have the opportunity to borrow a book from the school library for you to share together. Library books will be changed every Wednesday. SOUND/READING BOOKS Sound books will be sent home every Wednesday. These are for your child to practise their sound recognition and formation. Children will begin to bring home Word Time sheets/reading books for you to continue practising their reading skills. Books need to be returned to school every Wednesday. HANDWRITING BOOKS Please encourage your child to practise their letter formation in the new handwriting book. Please return every Wednesday.

P.E Please ensure that PE kits are in school by the end of next week and that all items are labelled with your child’s name. RLJ Monday and Tuesday RTE Monday and Thursday

REMEMBER Sports Day June 16th

The parent representative for RTE is Mrs Hughes (Isabel’s mum). There is currently a vacancy for a parent representative for RLJ. Any volunteers please contact school.

Pop-in Pop-in is a time for you to look at your child’s work and classroom. RLJ pop-in will take place on Tuesdays. RTE pop-in will take place on Wednesdays. Please sign in at the office before attending.

General information FRUIT AND MILK The children will continue to have fruit and milk/water. Fruit money for this half term is £3.50. Please would you send fruit money in a named envelope. Thank you to those who have already paid fruit money. ABSENCES If your child is absent for any reason please would you contact school as soon as possible. When your child returns please send a letter confirming the reason for absence. WATER BOTTLES Please would you provide your child with a clearly labelled water bottle. This will give the children access to a drink throughout the day. For RTE the water bottles will be brought home on a daily basis. Please ensure they are filled with fresh water. For RLJ the water bottles will remain in school for the whole half term.
