Pitt Meadows Score Clock Instructions
PITT MEADOWS SCORE CLOCK PROCEDURES To clear the board: Hold the CLEAR button for a few seconds until the board is cleared. General rule for entering anything on the scoreclock:
ENTER + NUMBER + FUNCTION
INTERVAL HORN To set the interval horn: INTERVAL HORN + 1 + ENTER + 2:00 + INTERVAL HORN
CLOCK TIME To set the time clock: ENTER + 5:00 (or 15:00, etc) + CLOCK SET To start and stop the clock, use the RUN and STOP buttons at the upper right corner.
PERIOD To set the period: ENTER + 1 (or 2 or 3, etc) + PERIOD
SCORE and SHOTS ON GOAL To add SHOTS ON GOAL or SCORE, just press the applicable button on the home or visitor side. If you add too many, just go back to the general rule. To correct the score or shots on goal, hit ENTER + correct number + SCORE, or SHOTS ON GOAL, etc.
PENALTIES If there are no penalties already posted, use the general rule. ENTER + 2:00 (or 4:00, etc) + PENALTY key on the home or visitor side as applicable. FOR ADDITIONAL PENALTIES: FIRST Press the home/away PENALTY button to access the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc penalty. Look on the display board until you see the correct “Penalty Number”. For example, if there is already one player in the box, press the PENALTY button until “2” is displayed for the second penalty. Once you are on the correct penalty number, then enter it as usual: ENTER + 2:00 (or 4:00, etc) + PENALTY. You can access up to six penalties on each side. If you do not press the PENALTY button first, whatever you enter will override and just replace the time of the first penalty.

To add a second penalty, press the PENALTY button FIRST, until the second penalty number is displayed, then enter the penalty as usual.
CLEARING OR REDUCING PENALTIES: This is the same as correcting errors in the score or shots. If there is only one penalty posted, just hit ENTER + 0 + PENALTY on home/visitor side. Or to reduce a penalty down to 2:00 minutes, ENTER + 2:00 + PENALTY. If there are several penalties posted, press the PENALTY button FIRST, until the display shows the correct penalty and time that you need to clear or reduce, THEN hit ENTER + time (0, 2:00, etc) + PENALTY. Remembering the general rule, as well as the Penalty key function for multiple penalties should get you through each game with no problems. Practicing in the box during the ice clean right before the game should give you a good feel for how the clock works.
