PLACEMENT TEST INFORMATION POWERED BY AURALOG

Placement Test The placement test allows students to determine their level and then to define which level of the TELL ME MORE method they will work on. It is available for students learning English, German, Spanish, Italian, or French and allows students to evaluate: - Knowledge of vocabulary and grammar; - Skill in listening and reading comprehension. Following this test, the student will be placed on a scale of 10 levels. To carry out the test, we recommend that the student: - Find a quiet, undisturbed location to take the test; - Pay particular attention to the instructions; - Read or listen carefully to the texts, questions and/or responses before answering; - Tick the correct box; - Check each answer before moving to the next question. This test must be taken on a computer equipped with a soundcard and headphones (or loudspeakers). Characteristics of the placement test: -

Developed on the basis of contents of the TELL ME MORE method; Composed of 64 questions; Can only be taken once; Timed, with a duration of 20 to 45 min. maximum (according to whether the student uses all of the time allocated to each question); Can be paused (allowing the student to return to the question where he or she left off); Does not allow the student to return to a previous question during the test; Adapts to the level of the student: adapting in three sequences; Test instructions are written in the student’s interface language; Composed of six types of multiple-choice questions with only one possible correct answer; The student’s choice of answer can be changed as long as time remains.
