TOOLS: Phillips #1 Screwdriver (1)

Step 1 — PlayStation Case Disassembly 

Remove the parallel port cover on the back of the PlayStation.



Flip over the PlayStation and remove the six screws from the bottom.

Step 3 

Turn the PlayStation upright. Remove the cover by lifting it up.

Step 4 — Controller Port



Remove the two screws securing the controller port to the case.

Step 5 

Gently disconnect the ribbon cable from the logic board. This is done by pulling on the blue area of the cable near the connector.



Remove and replace the controller port.

Step 6
