COPC TEAM EVENT – Enter a team of up to 6 riders covering ANY three heights, team members do not have to be pony club members, grab your coach, sister, mother or father and make up a team. You must be entered as an individual to enter in a team. The scoring will be the same as Springston, one score from each height and the next best score from any of the three heights. Your team entry can be entered on the day but must be in and paid for 30 minutes before the dressage begins. No changes to teams once the competition has begun no exceptions!!
Please note you must supply your own back number holder rider vest. Entry Fees: Pony club members $50(includes St John and ground fees) Non Pony Club/O21 $55 (includes St John and ground fees) Open Team Event $60 (includes St Johns and ground fees), This must be paid on the day but must be paid prior to the dressage commencing with your completed entry form. Classes 5,6,7 and 8 dressage tests may be called PC Branch Team Trophies: This is a separate team event from the Open teams and does not require an extra team fee. Branch Coaches are to enter their teams on the day. The same team can also be entered in the open teams but must be paid for as per the Open team fees. IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND CONDITIONS
All entries are required to supply a named helper and mobile phone number, no helper, no entry!! Unaccompanied riders will be assigned a job for when they are not riding. Medical armbands must be worn for show jumping and XC phases or you will not compete. Helmets without the NZPCA blue sticker must meet the required NZ safety standards, this will be inspected at gear check for all phases with the exception of the NZPCA new Gear Safety Inspection rules. Gear Safety checks will be run under the NZPCA general regulations 19.2 19.2 At Eventing Competitions – Any Gear Safety Inspection should be carried out with reference to current NZ Eventing Rules and current NZPCA General Regulations, Any Gear Check Sheet is only a guide and reference must be made to the Eventing Rules and NZPCA General Regulation. a. Gear Safety Inspections are to be compulsory in all tests (Dressage, Show jumping & Cross Country) for levels NZPC 65 (formally Introductory) and NZPC 80 (formally PreTraining). b. Gear Safety Inspections to be compulsory for Cross Country test only at NZPC 95 (formally Training) and only needs to be undertaken at random for dressage and show jumping. c. Gear Safety Inspections only needs to be undertaken at random from NZPC 105 (formally Open) and NZPC A1 d. The person carrying out the Gear Safety Inspection must contact the competitions TD if there are any issues regards a competitor’s saddlery or dress for them to adjudicate if so required. Please note the current Rules and Regulations on rider falls will be enforced as per regulation 20.1 in the NZPCA General Regulations 20.1. Falls – If a rider becomes unseated for whatever reason and as a result lands on the ground either on their feet or not this counts as a fall. C. At all Pony Club Eventing competitions/events a single rider fall will result in elimination – also refer to NZPCA Annex within the ESNZ Eventing Rules. Riders ride at their own risk STRICTLY NO DOGS ON THE GROUNDS (YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE) All manure and rubbish must be cleaned from yards/paddocks and floats. NZPCA Yellow Card will be used. Refunds: A portion of your entry fee of up to 75% will be given at the discretion of the organising committee and will require a written request accompanied with either a vet certificate or doctor’s certificate. Refunds will not be given at the event as will need to be approved by the committee.
