Contact Directory Contacts can be added from Call Lists. Refer to the Call History section for more information. Add a Contact 1. Press

2. Select Contact Directory. 3. Press the More soft key, and then the Add soft key to enter a contact. 4. Enter the first and/or last name using the dial pad. Press the 1/A/a soft key to select between numeric and upper /lower case alphanumeric modes. 5. Enter the contact’s phone number. 6. Change the Speed Dial Index. This is the digit that is configured as the Speed Dial number associated with this contact. 7. Modify the remainder of the fields (e.g., Ring Type, Divert Contact, Auto Reject, and Auto Divert), if applicable. 8. Press the Save soft key to confirm, or the Cancel soft key to cancel the changes. 9. Press
or the Exit soft key to return to the idle display.
Search for a Contact 1. Press

2. Select Contact Directory. 3. Press the More soft key, and then the Search soft key. 4. Enter the first few characters of the contact’s first or last name using the dial pad. 5. Press the Search soft key to search for contacts.

Edit a Contact 1. Search for contact (see above). 2. Press the Edit soft key and make the necessary changes. 3. Press
to end data entry.
4. Press the Yes soft key to accept your changes, and then press
twice to return to the idle
screen.
Speed Dial Speed dial contacts are created when adding contacts to the Contact Directory. 1. Press the corresponding Line key to dial a speed dial contact using the assigned speed dial index from 1 – 99. 2. Enter the assigned index. 3. Press the Dial soft key.
Call History 1. Press
from the idle screen.
2. Press Call Lists > Missed, Received, or Placed Calls.

Press the Edit soft key to amend the contact number.

Press the Dial soft key to place the call.

Press the More soft key: o
Press the Info soft key to view detailed call information.

Press the Save soft key to store the contact to the Contact Directory.

Press the Clear soft key to delete the call from the list.

Press the More and Exit soft keys to return to the idle screen.

Transfer Calls Consulted Transfer 1. Press the Trnsfer soft key during a call. The active call is placed on hold. 2. Dial the party to whom you wish to transfer the call. 3. After speaking with the second party, press the Trnsfer soft key to complete the transfer. Blind Transfer 1. Press the Trnsfer soft key during a call. 2. Press the Blind soft key. 3. Enter the extension of the number to which you want to transfer. Transfer to Voice Mail 1. Press the Trnsfer soft key during a call. 2. Enter *55. 3. At the prompt, enter the extension of the party to which you want to transfer and press the # key. Note: Press the Cancel soft key to cancel transfer and resume the call.
Forward Calls You can configure this feature on the My Phone dashboard. Refer to the Call Forwarding User Guide for more information. Call Forwarding is not available on shared lines. Enable 1. Press

2. Select Features > Forward. 3. Select a Forwarding Type: Always, No Answer, or Busy. 4. For No Answer, select the number of rings before forwarding. 5. Enter the number to which calls should be forwarded. 6. Press the Enable soft key to confirm Call Forwarding. A moving arrow icon appears for that line. Disable 7. Press
.
8. Select Features > Forward. 9. Select Disable.

Adjust Call Volume •
Press
to adjust the call volume of the active call.

while in idle mode to adjust the ring volume.
Note: To conform to regulatory requirements, handset and headset volume returns to a preset level after each call, but the configuration can be changed by your system administrator. Hands-free volume settings are maintained across calls.
Mute 1. Press
during a call so other parties cannot hear you.
2. Press
again to disable Mute. This applies to calls using the handset, headset, and speakerphone.
Feature Access Codes In addition to managing your phone features from your phone and My Phone dashboard, you can also use Feature Access Codes. Refer to the Feature Access Codes Reference Guide for a list of codes.
Conference Calls 1. Connect to the first party. 2. Press the Confrnc soft key to create a new call. The active call is placed on hold. 3. Place a call to the second party. 4. When the second party answers, press the Confrnc soft key again to join all parties in the conference.

Placing the conference on hold places all parties on hold.

Press the Split soft key to split the conference into two separate calls on hold.

Press the Join soft key to create a conference between an active and held call.

Voice Mail Use the default password you received in your welcome email to set up your voice mail. You can configure this feature on the My Phone dashboard. Refer to the Voice Mail User Guide for more information. Setup 1. Press

2. Select Features > Messages. 3. Enter your default passcode. 4. Enter a new passcode. Passcodes must be between 4 - 8 digits. 5. Enter your new passcode again. 6. Record your personalized name (e.g., your first and last name). 7. Press # to save. 8. Press 2 to record your Busy Greeting. This is the message callers hear if you are on an active call. •
Press 1 to record your Busy Greeting Message.

Press # to save and return to the previous menu.
9. Press 3 to record your No Answer Greeting. This is the message callers hear if you do not answer. •
Press 1 to record your No Answer Greeting.

Press # to save and return to the previous menu.
Retrieve Messages You are alerted that you have messages by a voice mail icon on the screen, a flashing line key, and a red message waiting indicator light. 1. Press

2. Enter your passcode and press #. 3. Press 1 to access your voice mailbox.
Do Not Disturb You can configure this feature on the My Phone dashboard. Refer to the Do Not Disturb User Guide for more information.

Note: If you select Silent, press the Line key or Answer soft key to answer incoming calls.
