Poquoson Little League 2017 All-Star Baseball/Softball Commitment Form http://PoquosonLittleLeague.org
_______________________________________________ _______________ _______________ Player’s Name Division Team The Little League All-Star program requires a huge commitment from both the Little League player and his/her parents/guardians. If selected to an All-Star team, daily practices could start as soon as June 1, 2017, and depending on advancement, could continue through August 2017. Advancement past District 7 tournaments may involve travel out of the Hampton Roads area. Little League Tournament rules differ slightly from regular season rules such as: 1) Players may now participate in other programs during the LLB All-Star season, however the local league still reserves the right to remove a player from the team for repeated misses of practices and games. 2) Pitch count requirements are slightly different and some additional minor rules apply. See the 2017 Little League Official Rule Book Tournament Section. All-Star fees will be $90 (cash or check) per player. Other documentation will be required if selected on a tournament team.

I wish my son/daughter to be considered for selection to a Poquoson Little League All-Star Tournament team. I am aware of the time commitments required and will do everything possible to ensure that my child is available to participate in practices and games as required. I will respect the manager and coaches decisions as to what is best for the team. Annotate the days your son or daughter will NOT be available for games or practice if selected to an All-Star team. List all known or expected conflicts, i.e. vacation, camps, summer school, etc. Also please indicate whether the conflict dates are flexible or not. Practice may begin as soon as early June. (Minor changes may occur, but major absences/changes may make the player ineligible)

I will maintain a positive attitude, display good sportsmanship, and respect the manager and coaches’ decisions as to what is best for the team.
