PAYSON YOUTH SOCCER RULES 1. A courtesy rule applies to recreation soccer games. To begin the game an equal number of players are fielded by each team. 2. (Kinder-4th grade) No Forfeits, see rule 1. 3. (5th -8th grade) A team will forfeit if there are not at least seven (7) players ready to play by ten (10) minutes after the assigned start time. 4. If a player is penalized with a Red Card or two (2) Yellow Cards, equalizing a red the player must sit out the remainder of that game (without a substitute) and the next game (with the team at full number). 5. Duration of the games by age as follows: DIVISION PreK – K

Substitutions can be made after approval from the referee on a throw in by the throwing team, on corner kicks by the kicking team, on goal kicks by either team and by either team on a kick-off following a goal.
