Potomac Soccer Association Boys Travel Soccer Program Potomac Soccer Association Philosophy At Potomac Soccer we value every player’s participation in our program, and are committed to ensuring that all our players have an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding experience with our club. Our coaches have extensive experience in the game, as well as some of the highest certifications of any club in the country. Many hold US Soccer Federation National Coaching Licenses, and have many years of teaching and coaching experience. We are a club that prioritizes a player’s growth and development as a player and as a person, and believe that many life lessons and valuable personal qualities and characteristics are taught through competitive sports in a fun and challenging environment.

Boys Program Information U8 No tiering of teams/balanced teams Only “Play Days or Events” – NO Tournaments League – OBSL (Saturdays in Fall/Spring) Training is 2x a week Fall, Winter, Spring Format: 4 v 4 U9/U10 Player tiering of teams/3-4 teams will be formed Training is 2x per week Fall, Winter, Spring (possible indoor league for one training in winter) 3 Tournaments to be played (fall, early spring and Memorial Weekend) Leagues: OBSL Format: 7 v 7 U11-U12 Tiering of Teams/Leagues/3 teams will be formed CCL (1st teams) NCSL (All 2nd and 3rd teams at U11 and U12) Training is 2x per week Fall, Winter, Spring Format: U11/12 8 v8 Tournaments: 4 Local tournaments will be played U13/U14 Tiering of Teams/Leagues/11 v 11 CCL (1st Team at U/13) CCL and ASL (1st team at U/14) NCSL (2nd and 3rd teams) ODSL (if necessary) Tournaments: 4 tournaments U13/U14 - May have Out of Area Tournaments Training is 2-3 times per week, Fall, Winter and Spring U15-U18 Tiering of Teams/Leagues – CCL and ASL (1st teams) NCSL (2nd and 3rd teams) Training/Games in fall 1x per week, Training 2-3 times in Winter and Spring Tournaments: 2-3 in fall/winter, 2-3 in spring (A few will be Out of Area)
