POW Nominations for 17th-18th 2015 Courage Girls 04 White- Allyssa Joshua Alyssa was a standout this weekend. Filling multiple roles, she played the #5, #8, and #9. At the 5, she was crucial in stopping numerous attacks and made a huge play, tracking down a breakaway. She also created many attacking opportunities from the back, as well as centrally and up top. Her dynamic play and ability to take girls on was a bright spot in a tough 3-0 loss.

Courage Girls 03 Red- Maysen Nelson Maysen was asked to play all over the field this weekend. She helped her team in every possible way she could but really stood out in the #10 and #2 roles. On Saturday, she peppered the Chesterfield keeper from distance and asked a lot of questions of the Chesterfield back 3. She tucked a free kick just beneath the crossbar on Saturday and was able to facilitate all afternoon. She made her greatest impact against VSA on Sunday getting up and down the channel in the #2 slot. The game changed when she started to get herself forward creating 2 v 1's out wide. Maysen is new to the club and is getting back each week as her confidence grows. #MaysenPrilo

Courage Girls 02 Red- Brynne Beachan Brynne has shown massive improvement from last year to this year and even more so from August to now. Brynne is playing with confidence and is making a difference for 02 Red. She has always been a good defender and contributed across the back 4. She has recently seen some time in the #7 and has been making an impact by providing service and beating players on the

dribble. I am sure she is going to start scoring some goals in the coming weeks. #Hardworkpaysoff

Courage Girls 99 White- Zolia Rodriguez Our team played two matches this weekend and Zoila scored 3 goals and one assist for the team which helped them secure their first win of the season! She worked incredibly hard when we didn't have the ball to put our opposition under pressure and won the ball back numerous times in both games. Not only did Zoila have a great work ethic throughout the weekend, she created a number of combination plays in the offensive third which gave our team a lot of opportunities to goal.

Courage Girls 01 White- Madison Depalma Madison had a great game this weekend playing center back for us. She helped keep our defense organized and the team didn't allow any goals in their last two games. This Sunday she had made a huge impact not only defensively but when she was on the ball she made great decisions playing the ball out of the back to help our team keep possession. Madison also played a great through ball splitting the defense to assist one of our goals!

Courage Boys 02 Black- Josh Talcott Josh fought relentlessly to win the ball and quickly turned defensive positions into attacks against our opponent this weekend. He created scoring opportunities for the team, and was our leading scorer this weekend.

Courage Boys 00 White- Adam Dridi Adam has worked hard in practice to improve his quickness of play and first touch. This was evident in the two games he played this weekend. He limited the time he was caught under pressure while defensively recovering quickly.

Courage Boys 02 White- Thomas Ferrantino Thomas has solidified the center of the defense. He is calm under pressure making good decisions when on the ball able to find teammates out of the back. This weekend he was instrumental in a 1-0 win in Presidents Cup by playing early balls out to start an effective counter attack. Invitation
