Description :
High-quality epoxy 3 component system, for the reinforcement of defective or very thin and sensitive marble slabs and tiles. It is available in the form of a beige powder (component A), which is accompanied by the appropriate type of epoxy resin (component B) and a hardener (component C). It is a high-performance product of great strength and flexibility, very effective for white or light colored marbles, sensitive to stains
Uses :
It can be applied to the back side of marble tiles or slabs, in order to reinforce and protect them. Marbles can then be placed on the wall or on the floor with the use of any type of cement-based adhesive mortar

Safety precautions :
It increases the strength of the marble slab. It makes the marble slab resistant to the moisture of the substrate. It protects the marble slab from stains caused by the moisture of the substrate. It improves the adhesion of the slab on the surface where it will be fixed Easy to prepare, you only have to mix 3 components (A + B +C), without adding other ingredients.
This product contains cement and reacts as alkaline with moisture, so it is classified as irritant. The hardener (component B) is a corrosive liquid. They must be used with care according to the instructions for use. In order to avoid any injuries, wear gloves, protective glasses and avoid breathing the dust. Please consult the SDS of the product.

APPLICATION: Consumption: Application mode:
0.8 - 1 kg /m2 depending on the surface of the slab, where it is applied and whether or not a reinforcing fiberglass mesh has been used.
Mix well the mortar (POWER 2 SLAB Epoxy - component A) with epoxy resin (POWER 2 SLAB Epoxy - component B) and the hardener (POWER 2 SLAB Epoxy – component C), at a ratio of 1:1:1, using an electrical mixer at a low speed. More specifically, add gradually the powder inside the dispersion and then add the hardener while stirring. Do not use additional ingredients.
Before using the mixture, make sure that all bubbles have disappeared.
For further reinforcement of the marble slab you can use a reinforcing fiberglass mesh.
Place a piece of fiberglass mesh at the back side of the slab and pour the mixture you have prepared over it. Spread the mixture well, using a spatula, until the fiberglass mesh is completely covered and then level it.
Caution: The mixture prepared is fast-setting and it should be used within 10 minutes at the most.
Let the surface air dry. It will take about an hour (indoors) or 30 - 40 minutes (outdoors).
The marble slab can be cut, once the POWER 2 SLAB epoxy mortar is completely dry (after 1 - 2 days).
We cannot guarantee the final result of the product’s application, which largely depend on the quality of work of each user and on the application conditions. The user is advised to test the product on a small scale, and if he is satisfied with the result, then to use the product on large scale in his project.
