CHESS INTRAMURAL SPORTS Sport Description Think you are a good Chess player? Well, come and test your skills at Intramural Sports new Chess tournament. The tournament will last a week and is an single elimination tournament. Each match has a time limit on it and if the time limit expires then we will go to a point count. Winner of this event will get a KU Intramural champion shirt and will be named the best Chess player at KU!

ENTRY FEE AND DUE There is no entry fee for the Chess tournament. DATES: GAME SITE:
All games will be played in room 202/203 located in the Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center.
LEAGUES & PLAYER Open event. REGISTRATION MINIMUM: EVENT FORMAT:
Single Elimination Tournament. Tournament will last a full week.
GAME FORMAT:
There will be a one (1) hour limit on completion of match. If the match is NOT completed within the one (1) hour limit. Then the winner will be decided off of points scored. Point value are given to each pieces as it is captured.
