BE PREPARED FOR ANY BUMP IN THE ROAD. BENEFITS INCLUDED: MECHANICAL PROTECTION: Component coverage includes Powertrain components as outlined in your Lexus Warranty and Services Guide under “New Vehicle Warranty”, and other important components listed in this brochure. With Lexus Extra Care Protection, the length of coverage is extended from 48 months/80,000km to the term selected.
TRIP INTERRUPTION: In the event that a covered component fails while travelling over 80km away from home, Lexus Extra Care Protection will assist you with hotel, meals and alternative transportation expenses to a maximum of $100/day, up to $300/occurrence. VEHICLE RENTAL ASSISTANCE: Lexus Extra Care Protection provides you with $65 per day for substitute transportation up to 5 days, in addition to the Lexus Alternate Transportation Program
coverage which is standard (refer to the Lexus Warranty and Services Guide under the Special Services section for more information). TRAVEL PLANNING ASSISTANCE: Let us assist you on your next road trip with a personalized travel planner, which includes colour maps; alternate routes and trip log; tour and accommodation directories and lists of Lexus Dealers, notable attractions and entertainment en route.
TIRE ROAD HAZARD PROTECTION: Covers the cost to repair or replace original equipment tires. Protection up to 36 months or 50,000 km. Installation and balancing is also included. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, you can call for emergency road service and mechanical breakdown service as outlined in your Lexus Warranty and Services Guide under “Roadside Assistance Program”. With Lexus Extra Care Protection, coverage is extended

DRIVER’S RESPONSIBILITIES Parts not covered by Lexus Extra Care Protection are: All glass (including mirrors, heated windshields and rear window with defroster), fog lamps, lenses, sealed beams, lamps, lightbulbs, tires (36/50 only), wheels or wheel studs, trim, seat frames, convertible top, mouldings, weather-strips, bright metal, sheet metal, body parts (including frame), bumpers, upholstery, carpet, paint, brake rotors and drums, brake linings and pads, batteries and cables, manual clutch disk lining, pressure plate and bushings, throw out bearings, catalytic converter (which may be covered by emissions control systems, warranties) and exhaust system, and non-manufacturer installed accessories. In addition, maintenance services and parts; including all lubricants and filters, belts and hoses, wheel balancing or alignment and adjustments for air and water leaks, wind noise, squeaks and rattles as well as alignment of bumpers, sheet metal, body parts, non-manufacturer installed accessories and glass are not covered.
