MISSION Feed My Starving Children is dedicated to providing nourishing food to starving children throughout the world and to providing volunteer opportunities for children, youth and adults. By providing nutritious life-sustaining food they give thousands of children an opportunity to live more meaningful lives.
SERVING OPPORTUNITIES Volunteers work in teams at the FMSC facility in Chanhassen (on Dell Road & Hwy 5) to measure, weigh and pack food ingredients into plastic bags. They seal and box the bags for shipping to children all over the world. The person best suited for this ministry has a heart for feeding hungry children AND a desire to help people find ways to participate in hands on serving.
The time commitment for packing food is about a 2 hour shift at the Chanhassen facility. Volunteer once or regularly. Sign up with PLC Group at the Info Desk or online at www.FMSC.org 2. Donate financially a. Give $10 to feed a family of 4 for a week
b. Invest $50 for one box of food (216 meals) c. Donate $80 and a child will eat for an entire year Give online at www.FMSC.org to help fight hunger.
