Fat Quarterly an ezine bursting with sew much inspiration
Issue 12 - Pre-Cuts
Dear Fat Quarterly Readers We hope you had a wonderful holiday season with friends and families. The New Year is already well upon us and this year as ever is looking like being an action packed year for the Fat Quarterly Team. Although Katy is sadly no longer a part of the Fat Quarterly team, she is still very much in our hearts. So you can imagine how excited we were to hear about the release of her first (of many we are sure!) solo book. Head over to Katy’s blog, imagingermonkey.blogspot.com, to find out more about the book itself. Or go straight to Amazon and pre-order your copy right now! The rest of us are gearing up toward the Fat Quarterly Retreat in July. If you haven’t bought your ticket now is the time to do so as we are just about to release information about the classes and open up the class registration for ticket holders. If you have your ticket, keep an eye on the Fat Quarterly website for more information about the classes throughout February. We will also email you once registration starts but remember that sometimes emails can land in your spam folders. While we wait for July and the Retreat to roll around we hope you enjoy the latest Fat Quarterly issue. It is pretty safe to say that the majority of quilters are big fans of pre-cuts. They are just such a wonderful time saver and an affordable way of being able to have a variety of prints in a project. Not to mention how darn cute they look. We challenge any one of you to walk past a jelly roll without giving it a little stroke! We hope you enjoy this issue packed full of patterns and ideas of how to use up those pre-cuts you have amassed and make room in your cupboards for new ones! As always we would love to how you get on with any of the patterns you find in Fat Quarterly. Simply go to our Flickr group and upload your photos. With love from the Fat Quarterly Team Tacha, John, Brioni and Lynne. xx
