Requesting Access Steps • In today’s session, we will cover the following: • Requesting access to the Innovation Center as an “IC Privileged User” • Completing the Identity Verification – If you encounter trouble on this step, contact Experian at 866-578-5409 to complete the identity verification over the phone

• Setting up the Multifactor Authentication Device • Requesting access to the HHVBP Secure Portal as a “Secondary Point of Contact” • Reviewing how to access and what the HHVBP Secure Portal looks like

Part A: Innovation Center • Navigate to the CMS Enterprise Portal: https://portal.cms.gov • Click the “Login to CMS Secure Portal” button

Part A: Innovation Center • Accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking the “I agree” button

Part A: Innovation Center • Enter your EIDM user ID • Click the “Next” button

Part A: Innovation Center • Enter your password • Click the “Log In” button

Part A: Innovation Center • Click the “Request Access Now” button on the CMS Portal landing page

Part A: Innovation Center • Search for the Innovation Center in the access catalog: – Type “IC” in the access catalogue search box and press enter – Click the “Request Access” button in the IC widget

Part A: Innovation Center • Select “Innovation Center Privileged User” Role from the dropdown

Part A: Complete Identity Verification • Check the box to Agree to the Terms and Conditions on the “Identity Verification” screen • Click the “Next” button

Part A: Complete Identity Verification • If you answer a question incorrectly, the Experian number (866-578-5409) will pop up on your screen:

• If you answered all the questions correctly, a screen confirming you have completed remote identity proofing appears

Part A: Multifactor Authentication Device • Select from the four credential types from the drop-down: – Phone/Tablet/PC/Laptop – Text Message Short Message Service (SMS) – Interactive Voice Response (IVR) – E-mail

Part A: Multifactor Authentication Device • MFA: Choose either the “Email one-time pass-code” or “Text Message- Short Message Service (SMS)” option

• Click the “OK” button on the confirmation screen

Part A: Multifactor Authentication Device • If you successfully set up the multifactor authentication device, you will receive a message that says “Successful Completion”

• Then you will need to log out and log back in to access the Innovation Center • Under “Manage Access” you will then see your role as an Innovation Center Privileged User listed

Part B: HHVBP Secure Portal • Review your access requests in the CMMI Access section at the bottom of the CMS Enterprise Portal webpage

Accessing the HHVBP Secure Portal • Navigate to the Innovation Center Application Console • Select “Launch HHVBP App”
