Oceana Business Park is strategically located on the north banks of the River Tyne in Wallsend, circa 5 miles to the east of Newcastle city centre. The A19 trunk road is 2 miles to the east providing ready access to the north and south of the region and beyond.

Access to the Park is from Davy Bank which leads onto the A187 Hadrian Road, less than 2 miles from the A1058 Coast Road to the north. Planning The site is allocated as current Employment Area /Expansion Land (B1, B2 & B8 uses) within Policy LE1/4 of the North Tyneside Unitary Development Plan (adopted in March 2002). North Tyneside Council re-affirmed their opinion that land at Oceana Business Park is suitable for B1, B2 and B8 uses within their Local Plan Consultation Draft in November 2013. In particular they will support “further development and investment in the advanced engineering, manufacturing and renewable sectors providing a range of office and manufacturing space, with access to multi-purpose hard standing and deep-water berths, and additionally to the provision of accommodation for training and education in related sectors across the River Tyne North Bank area...”
