The fact is that small increases in warehouse efficiency through smart technology deployment can add up to big savings through greater efficiency and inventory accuracy. This presentation will outline the latest trends in warehouse technology as we go on a virtual tour from receiving to shipping. The audience will be provided a glimpse of what the future warehouse may look like and we will compare the different technology methodologies available so that the audience can make an educated decision when choosing hardware for their Warehouse Management System. A challenge faced by many organisations is addressing Fixed Assets Tax Reporting needs where business unit asset ownership is shared. This presentation looks at using General Ledger Allocations processing to respond to this challenge.
It's a sad but real trend with all companies today that fraud and the risk of fraud is increasing daily. With the advent of enterprise wide systems like JD Edwards the ability to manipulate the system is all to apparent. Creating a supplier, paying that supplier and then deleting the supplier is one example but equally creating a false shipment of goods or changing the ingredients of a food product are other good examples of not just how a company can lose money through fraud, but lose reputation too.

The tools also enable users to check for Segregation of Duties conflicts before access is granted, and all activities are automatically logged in audit files, making it easy to provide evidence to auditors as and when required. JDE Mobile Expense Management allows the forever-on-the-go sales rep to create expense reports, attach photos of receipts and submit the reports for approval. The on-the-go manager can review and approve the expense reports to ensure everybody gets reimbursed in a timely manner.
