Themulti-talentedsinger-songwriter,actor andhumanitarianwasinspiredtopaintbyhis artistmotheratayoungagegrowingupin Seymour,Indiana.Intheearly’80s,he attendedtheArtStudentsLeagueofNew Yorkandwasinfluencedby,amongothers, German-ExpressionistsOttoDixandMax Beckmann. FollowingtheDeLandshowing,theexhibitionwilltraveltotheMorrisMuseumofArtinAugusta, Georgia,whereitwillbeonviewfromJanuary11throughApril12,2015.Recentexhibitionsoftheartist’s workhavebeenonviewattheButlerInstituteofAmericanArt,inYoungstown,Ohio,andatthe TennesseeStateMuseuminNashville,Tennessee.
