CHARM & ELEGANCE OF PRE-WAR WARSAW Let us take you on a journey to the world of typically Polish charming elegance. It's a tale about romantic and dedicated gentlemen and their muses. A world that still exists among the hearts of many… During the trip, our driver-guide will introduce places and stories of pre-war Warsaw not known to the majority of Varsovians. For starters, we’ll treat with warm chocolate & a homemade cake at one of the most recognized drinking chocolate spots in town. The journey in time begins with a help of authentic photos from the era and a proper introduction, where our guide accustoms to the ideas of our pre-war world. Then, while moving along in our nostalgic car, with each of the residences, parks and statues we pass or visit on foot, we’ll get closer to our goal – the lovable and green Żoliborz district. Driving around its officer’s, journalist and official’s parts, while getting accustomed to local stories, we’ll experience our charming pre-war times. “CRAFTY WARSAW MAN” How to trick a trickster? Take a peek around the other side of the town... More adventurous than risky, Praga has survived the war turmoil and is now an asylum of Warsaw’s bohemian culture, blooming with large cultural and housing investments. Our cool driver-guide will take your clients on a trip of their lives, showing forgotten and revitalized places of crafty Warsaw district – Praga. As the only district that survived the II World War mainly intact, it’s a home for many funny, and scary stories as well. For starters, we’ll begin with Ząbkowska street & a visit to the old school Różycki’s market. Then, we’ll see the postindustrial complex of wódka Koneser and vigorous Soho Factory area, along with the Neon Museum. We’ll visit Plac Grzybowski, which is known as still functioning Jewish community center, enter the Nożyk Synagogue. On our way to Muranów district – former “Large Ghetto” area, we’ll stop at the Jewish cemetery. The trip includes as well Museum of the History of Polish Jews, opened in 2013, just by the monument of Warsaw’s Ghetto Heroes and close to the not to be forgotten Umschlagplatz. Or a humble piano student, that dreamed of fame and recognition? Thanks to our solid drivers – guides the clients will get to know much more about him! For starters, we’ll give a tour through Fryderyk Chopin Museum, and the Holy Cross Church – the place of burial of the composer’s heart. Just by the corner we’ll visit a XIXth century apartment, where Chopin’s family lived from 1829 to 1837. Along the way you’ll hear the great story of Chopin’s romance with George Sand. If it’s Sunday, there is something special - a walk through Łazienki Garden up to the Chopin’s statue, where we’ll be treated to a live piano concert.
