RICE BOWLS This Friday is our last day for rice during lunch. We would like to thank Mr. Skip Lamar and Ms. Pat Phillipp for coming in every Friday to prepare our rice and join us for lunch. We would also like to thank the NJHS members for serving the rice. This has been a symbol of our commitment to Jesus' command: Love thy neighbor. Please continue to fill your a paper rice bowl at home. You can send your donation direclty to CRS Rice Bowl, the instructions are on the box OR please bring in your CRS Rice Bowl by March 28. Thank you for your participation in this stewardship project. TAG DAY – TOMORROW March 22 Our National Junior Honor Society has chosen Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance as the charitable organization we will support for tomorrow's TAG Day. Students may wear colors of nature free dress if they bring in a donation of $1 or more. ACT-ASPIRE TESTING Every spring, students in grades 3rd through 8th take the ACT-Aspire testing for their current grade level. They are tested in reading, writing, math, science, and English. The test is entirely computer based. We use the results to help guide our instruction, as well as, helping individual students reach their fullest potential. Students in grades 3rd through 8th will be taking the test when we return from Easter Break. Please make sure that your student comes to school on time (testing will begin immediately in the morning), is well rested and has had a proper breakfast. Students will be tested the following days: • • • • •

LEPRECHAUN LOPE THANK YOU Thank you to Pat Noteboom, his many assistants and volunteers for making this year's 29th Annual Leprechaun Lope another success. We appreciate all the hard work that goes in to making this a fun, exciting, and valid race. We couldn't do that without Pat's expertise.
ST. PATRICK'S DAY THANK YOU Thank you to Sebrena Banecker for organizing our school’s participation in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and to the families who braved the cold and snow to walk in the parade representing our school.
BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations to all our basketball teams that participated in the Holy Spirit Invitational Basketball Tournament last weekend in Pocatello. All our teams won at least 2 games and the 6th grade girls advanced to the consolation championship but sadly lost. Thank you again to all our parent coaches for your dedication to our student-athletes in helping them gain new skills and demonstrate good sportsmanship. 6TH ANNUAL LACE UP FOR LOURDES WALK-A-THON - Friday, April 27 On Friday, April 27th, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School will hold its 6th Annual Walk-athon. Funds generated from this event will help the purchase of a new math curriculum and additional resources and supplies for our science programs.
