P R I VA T E H I R E AT T H E K E E P E R ’ S H O U S E The Keeper’s House opened its doors on the 30 September 2013, revealing the Royal Academy of Art’s new home for artists and art lovers. Tucked in the corner of the Royal Academy’s courtyard, the Keeper’s House provides a new social space for all, be they artists or ‘art curious’. Having returned this 19th century town house to its former glory, a new restaurant, cocktail bar, lounge and secret garden have been created in the heart of Mayfair. The Keeper’s House is now available to hire, whether it’s for an intimate drinks reception, a breakfast buffet, or a dining experience surrounded by walls adorned with art by our Royal Academicians. THE BELLE SHENKMAN ROOM Hire Fee: £500 + VAT Time: 7pm - midnight Capacity: 40 The Belle Shenkman room provides a relaxed atmosphere and would be ideal for holding smaller, more intimate drinks receptions.
T H E ACADEMICIANS’ RO OM Hire Fee: £500 + VAT Time: 8am - 10am Capacity: 60 We are delighted to be able to offer a unique room, out of bounds at all other times and normally for the sole use of Academicians and their nominated guests, for breakfast hire in the Keeper’s House. The room has a Juliette balcony looking over the Keeper’s House Garden where Michael Craig-Martin’s Pitch Fork can be viewed in all its glory. Peyton and Byrne are able to provide a range of breakfast goods ranging from mini eggs benedict and smoked salmon bagels with champagne to pastries, muffins, fruit and of course teas and coffees.
F ULL HIRE OF THE KEEPER’S HOUSE Hire Fee: £4,000 + VAT Time: Sunday evenings from 6pm Capacity: 330 The Keeper’s House closes to the public and its supporters on a Sunday at 6pm. This provides a rare opportunity to hire out the entire Keeper’s House. Here you will be able to get full access to all areas including areas that cannot usually be hired, including the Shenkman Bar and Restaurant.
P R I VA T E D I N I N G We are also able to offer you the exclusive opportunity to hire part of the restaurant for you and your guests. The private dining space can hold up to 46 guests for dinner. A roll call of carefully selected British ingredients are the real stars in our restaurant and our Head Chef will create a bespoke set menu especially for you.
THE SIR HUGH CASSON ROOM Hire Fee: £750 + VAT Time: 7pm - midnight Capacity: 100 The Sir Hugh Casson Room provides the perfect space for larger drinks and canapé receptions.
