Private Lesson Request form In addition to Group Classes, skaters also have opportunities to further their skating skills with private lessons. Private lessons are one on one instruction for figure & hockey skaters of all ages and skating abilities. Taking private lessons from one of the skilled skating professionals allows you to improve your own skills faster and at your own rate of learning while preparing you to pass a new test level, participate in competitions/exhibitions/games. You may approach an instructor to inquire about private lessons or you may complete this form and return it to Kay Olive, the Skate Director, at KCIC. Kay can help recommend coaches to you if needed. The instructor Bio’s are listed on the back of this form. The instructors set their own rates and schedules. Lesson fees do NOT include the price of admission and/or skate rental. Admission and skate rental are payable directly to the rink. Kay Olive She is KCIC Skate School Director. She is an Advanced Certified Skating Director & Arena Management through the Ice Arena Institute of Management. She has an A. S. in Early Childhood Education. She has passed USFS Adult Silver Freestyle, Pre-Pre MIF, Bronze dance, ISI Freestyle 4 and is ISI Gold Certified Judge.
