The Safari Lodge
U
pon arrival, you will meander down a long wooden boardwalk through a beautiful bay head surrounded by centuries-old cypress trees. At the end of the boardwalk and at the edge of the veldt is the rustic but elegant 13,000
square foot Safari Lodge. The lodge has a soaring 26’ ceiling, large picture windows, and looks over herds of African antelope, including scimitar-horned oryx, a species extinct in the wild. The lodge is heated and air conditioned with a verandah surrounding the lodge and a large open, covered area for those wanting to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. It has ample restroom facilities. A walk-through aviary and small mammals section are located just outside.

The Treehouse

or a more dramatic setting, ask about our elevated Treehouse, which provides a 360-degree treetop panoramic view of our wildlife. The Treehouse overlooks a gorgeous lake and landscape with roaming
herds.
From the Lodge your group will be transported by safari vehicle to The Treehouse, located in the center of our reserve. Large herds of plains zebra, warthog, common waterbuck and Watusi with the longest and thickest horns of any cattle, are some of the animals that surround you and your guests at The Treehouse. The Treehouse and enclosed gardens have a maximum capacity of 250. The Treehouse is equipped with water, electricity, and restroom. Price: $4,500 for 5 hour rental
The Verandah
T
he Verandah is located on on the north end of our Safari Lodge. It is a 1,500 square foot, covered, open-sided facility with concrete floors, and is equiped with picnic tables. The Verandah has a direct view of the African veldt, an
antelope/lemur island, and a huge walkthrough aviary and lemur habitat. It is adjacent to our commercial kitchen and large restroom facilities. The Verandah and surrounding gardens have a maximum capacity of 250.
Price: $2,500 for 5 hour rental
