FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT FREDERICK COUNTY AMERICAN LITTLE LEAGUE Frederick County American Little League will be holding it’s 11th Annual fundraiser on April 1, 2017 to help raise the money needed to upgrade some of the school fields we play on. Over the past couple of years, the need for additional field maintenance has grown tremendously with the growth of our league...and we’re asking our friends and family to help us meet our goals! All 31 FCALL teams will join together to play a combined total of 100 innings of baseball/softball...all you have to do is pay them to do what they love...play ball!
WHAT IS A 100 INNING GAME? On Saturday, April 1st beginning at 9am, all 31 FCALL teams will play “mini” games on the fields at Clearbrook Park. Each team will be assigned a time to play, and will play a specific number of innings (ranging from 4 innings for T-Ball teams, and up to 9 innings for the Jr/Sr teams)...at the end of the day, all teams will have played a combined total of 100 innings. Teams will not only be raising money for their playing fields, but they’ll be getting in some great practice time to prepare them for the first “real” games on April 8th! *Teams will need to arrive at the fields 30 minutes prior to their scheduled play time to go over the game rules (rules are different than those of a normal game).
HOW DO WE RAISE MONEY? Each player will ask their friends and family to sponsor the event by pledging a donation per inning (based on the combined 100 inning total). Players will turn in their sponsor sheets and money to their managers the day of the event; and the (5) players who collect the most donation money will win the prizes listed below.
PRIZES 1st Place - $250 Gift Card 2nd Place - $200 Gift Card 3rd Place - $175 Gift Card 4th Place - $150 Gift Card 5th Place - $100 Gift Card The team that raises the most money will receive tickets to the May 7th Orioles game at Camden Yards (charter bus and game). The top selling boy and girl will throw out the first pitch at our Opening Day ceremony's on April 8th. **Players must turn in their money on April 1st in order to be eligible to receive prizes! Everyone is invited to come out and watch the fun!
