Procedures Submit your photo for the EURORDIS Photo Award. This is your chance to raise awareness about rare diseases by asking your friends and family to share your photo on social media. Step 1: Submission open from 6 December 2017, 12:00 (CET) and close on 31 January 2018, 12:00 (CET). Upload your photo(s) on the following webpage https://blackpearl.eurordis.org/photoaward/, fill in all the required fields and read the terms & conditions of the contest.
You can also submit your photo by sending it to [email protected] with the following information: first name of the photographed person, your country, disease represented, name of photographer, title of your photo, year the photo was taken, and any comments.
Your photo will be validated by our moderator before being placed on our Gallery. Once your photo appears in the Gallery, feel free to click on the social media sharing button – this is your opportunity to raise awareness about rare diseases.
Step 2: Deadline for photo submissions: 31 January 2018, 12:00 (CET) Step 3: 5 shortlisted photos open to Public Vote: 13 February 2018 14:00 (CET). Step 4: Voting ends on 20 February 2018, 21:30 (CET). Step 4: Announcement of Winners: 20 February, 21:30 (CET) at the EURORDIS Black Pearl Awards. Follow the live stream here: blackpearl.eurordis.org/live Step 5: The winners will be notified by the most convenient method available, the prizes will be sent via post.
