PROJECT NO. NE-95-X001 SPECIFICATION NO. 14-14

Preliminary Engineering/NEPA BRT/Urban Circulator

ADDENDUM NO. 2 December 3, 2014

The Transit Authority of the City of Omaha d/b/a Metro hereby issues this Addendum to clarify and/or modify information from the solicitation document and distribute information to all interested parties prior to the due date. This addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents and clarifies or supersedes the original documents dated November 11, 2014 and any prior Addenda. The proposer shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum on the form provided in Exhibit E of the solicitation. Included in this addendum: - Revision to Page 6 of RFQ Section III - Revision to Question Submittal Procedures - Revision to Procurement Schedule - Metro’s response to (2) Requests for Clarifications Revision to Page 6 of RFQ Section III RFQ Section III, pages 6 states: “The successful consultant(s) selected for preliminary design and NEPA will be precluded from a final design contract with Metro for BRT or Urban Circulator.” This statement is stricken and replaced with “The successful consultant(s) selected for preliminary design and NEPA will be precluded from a final design contract with Metro for BRT or Urban Circulator only if the task order contract for NEPA has not completed closeout for the applicable project at the time Metro solicits for final design. If the task order for NEPA work for BRT is completed and closed, as determined by Metro, prior to Metro’s release of a solicitation for final design for BRT, the consultant(s) who completed the preliminary design/NEPA work would be eligible for

consideration for the final design contract (and similarly for Urban Circulator). The timeline for releasing a final design solicitation shall be in Metro’s sole discretion. Nothing herein shall be construed as to require Metro to expedite contract closeout or delay the release of a solicitation for final design; however, Metro anticipates completion of the preliminary design/NEPA task order prior to releasing future final design solicitations. This provision shall apply to all prime consultants and subcontractors unless otherwise prohibited by previous work outside of the scope of work of this solicitation.” Revision to Question Submittal Procedures Given the change to the Section III listed above, Metro will allow interested parties to submit additional questions/requests for clarifications utilizing the form found in Exhibit C until 11:30AM CST on Friday, December 5, 2014. Revision to Procurement Schedule The deadline for RFQ responses has been extended to 9:30AM CST, December 15, 2014. The anticipated timeline to announce short-listed proposers is December 22 – 23.
