RESTORIS® Z Femoral Stem Femoral stems that follow the Zweymuller design philosophy have over 30 years of clinical results with 98% survivorship1,2. The RESTORIS® Z Femoral Stem maintains the advantageous design features of Zweymuller philosophy stems with a rectangular cross-section for rotational stability. The RESTORIS® Z also provides an evolutionary take on a classic stem philosophy with proximal porous coating, tapered distal tip, and a reduced lateral shoulder for bone conservation. Enhanced Stability Rectangular tapered stem design has been shown to enhance rotational stability of Zweymuller philosophy stems over other stem designs.3
Reduced Risk for Impingement Polished, flat tapered neck design increases the joint range of motion and reduces debris generation in cases where impingement does occur.
Optimized Fixation Proximal titanium sintered porous coating for metaphyseal fit and rotational control. Midstem grit blasting allows additional bone on-growth at mid-stem.
Wide Range of Motion Range of motion is maximized with attention to detail in neck, taper and femoral head design.
