Dear ministry partners, Thank you for your interest in Proverbs 31 Ministries and for the many ways you have already invested in the mission God has placed before us. Our whole ministry is built on three God-assignments to help women: 1. Think in line with Scripture as they process life’s obstacles and opportunities. 2. Live out biblical principles in their relationships. 3. Connect more deeply to the Lord and the unique calling He has for their lives.
When we give women Scripture-based tools to THINK, LIVE and CONNECT, her life changes, her family strengthens and the positive impact she has on her sphere of influence is dramatic. Recently, I talked with a woman who has led several of our Bible studies. A few years ago she was leading a group of moms who unbeknowst to them at the time would go through the darkest season of their lives together. With tears in her eyes, she thanked me for helping her connect those women with God’s truth that carried them. Three of the moms in her study suffered the loss of a child in a school shooting that year. This is just one snapshot of how you help us reach the world with the hope of Jesus. We love what we do here at Proverbs 31 Ministries reaching over a million women daily with God’s transforming truth. And if you were to multiply the women we reach by the number each of them reach... it is easy to see the worldwide daily impact God has entrusted to us. Monthly Partners faithfully and generously committed to support the work of this ministry on an ongoing basis. This was a 76% increase in monthly partner support from 2012. Friends of the ministry on Facebook. This was a 115% increase from 2012. We increased our following on Twitter by 72%, with 39,059 people. We also increased our followers on Pinterest, with 26,818 people interested in our pins.
God has used you all to speak to my broken heart the words I desperately needed to hear. Life can be so challenging and reading and remembering God’s grace and mercy each morning gives me the fight I need for a new day. Thank you all so much.

People in 120 countries participated in our 2013 Online Bible Studies. This is a 52% increase in participation from 2012. People received Encouragement for Today daily devotions. This is a 38% increase from 2012. Radio outlets across the world broadcast the Proverbs 31 radio show, “Everyday Life with Lysa and Renee.” It airs in 48 states in the USA, US Virgin Islands, Philippines, England, St. Lucia, France, Canada, and Fiji Islands. It is broadcast through Sirius XM radio, iTunes podcast, oneplace.com, and Focus on the Family satellite.

In 2013, we were honored to stand with other ministries who reach women that our ministry may have otherwise not been able to reach. By the work of God’s sovereign hand bringing us together in prayer and financial support, God has expanded their ability to impact women and families all over the world. A21 prevents human trafficking through preventative education, protection of those who have been trafficked, prosecution of human traffickers, and by building strategic partnerships within the community. In October, Proverbs 31 Ministries led women within our sphere of influence in 31 days of prayer to end human trafficking. Dove’s Nest seeks to minister the Good News of The Gospel to individuals caught in the crisis of poverty, hopelessness, or addictions by meeting their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. In October, our Proverbs 31 Ministries Online Bible Studies participants raised over $30,000 to support the work of this 120-bed facility.

He has expanded our sphere of influence, which has in turn, expanded our need for additional staff to manage this growth. As we continue to grow as a ministry that has an international reach, we realize the software that got us to this point will not take us further. We have invested in a highly effective system that will allow us to experience sustained growth, to maximize financial reporting, and to combine our donors, resources, and speaking events into one multi-functional system.

Equipping Others Through years of experience, God has blessed Proverbs 31 Ministries with insights into teaching, leading, and writing. We cannot keep it to ourselves! Since 2001, the annual She Speaks conference fulfills our commitment to help women live out the truth of Proverbs 31:26 –

Proverbs 31 Ministries wanted to continue this momentum throughout the year, so in 2013, COMPEL was formed. COMPEL is a monthly membership site for influencers who want to write words that move people. Over the past year, Proverbs 31 Ministries has equipped 730 women through She Speaks and 1403 people through COMPEL to be more effective in teaching Bible studies in their home or church, write their testimonies to impact future generations, and be a voice of truth within their sphere of influence.
