The Players Soccer Academy Diocesan Summer Soccer Camp The PSA is proud to announce its first year hosting a Diocese wide summer soccer camp! We will focus our expertise on introducing and teaching the game of soccer to all of our participants in a safe and fun-filled environment. Whether your son or daughter is a seasoned player or new to the sport, we have a proven curriculum to engage and develop their mind, body, and social awareness through soccer. With our young and energetic staff we assure your child will have a great week of soccer and fun with The PSA.
The PSA Diocesan Mission: With the popularity of soccer continuing to soar in the area, we at the Players Soccer Academy want to give children in the Diocesan of Arlington a chance to grow and develop together through participation in the sport. We aim to promote friendships as well as active and healthy lifestyles between youth soccer enthusiasts throughout our Diocesan Schools.
The PSA Summer Programs: Participants will be divided into age and ability appropriate groups so that they will be working on the skills and activities consistent with that developmental phase. Ages 3-5 will be exploring the world of soccer while learning valuable skills in physical and social development. (Half Day Camp Only) Ages 6-9 will learning the fundamentals and pillars of soccer development in a creative game format. We want children at this age having fun and enjoying themselves whilst getting as many touches on the ball as they can. (Half and Full Day option) Ages 10-13 will be geared towards developing technical skills and introducing tactical awareness through creative games and coaching. Developing the metal and physical attributes though soccer is our priority in this age group. (Half and Full Day option)
Times: Half Day 9 am -12 pm/ Full Day 9 am - 3 pm Prices: Half Day $150/ Full Day $250 *Register and pay online (Walk-up Registration Available)

The Players Soccer Academy Camp Directors: Ricky Burke, former St. Thomas Moore and Falls Church High School Alum, is a professional soccer player for the Richmond Kickers in the USL and former player for Livingston FC (Scottish Championship), NOVA Royals PDL, and DC United Academy. Formerly the Scottish Universities and Heriot-Watt University Captain. Qualified UEFA youth coach. Current coach at FC Virginia youth club. Allan Flott, former St. Agnes School and Bishop O’Connell Alum, attended West Virginia University where he played as a scholarship athlete for a number of years. He is former DC United Academy player and has played in the PDL with the NOVA Royals. Current coach at Vienna Youth Soccer club.

Campers Arrival and Sign in. Introductions and Coach’s Morning Address PSA Session Rotation Indoor Soccer Option Small Sided Games Pick up for Half Day campers Lunch/Break Indoor/ Outdoor Rotation Scrimmages Pick up for Full Day campers.
Friday: Camp store will be available at the end of Half and Full day dismissals. Necessary equipment for the week of camp: Soccer ball, athletic apparel, water bottle, running shoes and cleats, snacks and lunch.
