Pub Trivia Anytime
Pub Trivia Anytime is a trivia game for smartphones that doesn’t just supply the player with questions and answers, but attempts to replicate the team experience of a pub quiz, uniting players who could potentially come from across the globe. Or even more meaningfully, using GPS and partnerships with local bars and quizmasters, players can discover new friends and quizzes in their area, perhaps leading to a team-up in the real world.
The Basics Through the game’s proprietary matchmaking mechanism, players would be connected with others who are interested in forming a team. Once a team is formed, a whimsical host avatar would present the questions, which all players would receive on their phones simultaneously. Racing against the clock, players would collaborate to come up with an answer.
Round 1: General Knowledge Question 1 The winner of the 2010 New York Marathon hailed from what country?
The War Room After receiving a question, players would then enter a chat room where they may share their thoughts and guesses with each other. Thumbs up and thumbs down buttons would appear next to comments so that other players may quickly express their approval or dismissal of guesses.
