Summary of PPG spending 2011/12: Objectives: PPG at Barnack CE Primary School is used to narrow the gap between pupils on Free School Meals and other pupils. Summary of Spending and actions taken: The grant in 2011-12 was used to support a number of key interventions and support strategies which are already established within the school. The grant was not used solely for one purpose but for a number of key activities. The grant was used additionally to purchase i pads, Mathletics intervention, Clicker software and also to support free school meals children’s attendance on residential visits and out of school activities, including swimming. Outcomes to date: Reading progress and Maths progress for our pupils with FSM has improved in this timescale; writing is a focus to improve also. The % of children reaching the expected progress in English and Maths throughout the school has continued to increase at end of KS1 and is consistently well above expected progress at the end of KS2, this includes children with FSM.
