PURPOSE  STATEMENT  -­‐  Why  we  exist     We  exist  to  REACH  those  who   do  not  connect  with  the  Church    

so  that  they  come  into  an  ever  deepening   relationship  with  Jesus  Christ,    

through  the  building  of  Church  Communities   that  people  love  to  attend.  

Calling is the summoning of people specific tasks and roles. God’s Call - TWO DISTICT WAYS;

GENERAL Calling

GENERAL CALLING THREE ASPECTS OF OLD TESTAMENT Genesis 12:1-9

The Authority of God to Call.

The sense of Obligation to respond.

Living a life of

PARTICULAR CALLING Exodus 3:1-12 Dominant aspects of calling; 1.

An overpowering vision of God’s Authority

A sense of human Unworthiness to accept the call

God Overcoming any resistance and Equipping the person

God gives a

Confirming Sign

that will equip the person to

accomplish the call. When Jesus called we saw two aspects consistently; 1.

The Authority of Jesus to call.

The instantaneous and

Life Changing outcome of the call in the

life of the disciple.
