Anyone who loves wildflowers will enjoy making this larger than life Queen Anne's Lace. Create a beautiful 18" quilt using fussy cutting, fusible and free motion stitching. Students need to be reasonably comfortable with free motion stitching $15 Kit Fee (includes pattern and lace) 1 yard fabric for background, binding, backing, and sleeve. I used solid black *Please precut a 20" square of background fabric 3-5 green fabrics with varied prints for texture and interest (approximately 5" x 15") 20" square of batting, (I use Warm-n-White) ½ yard Heat-n-Bond Lite Tacky Glue (can be shared) Fray Block Paper towels (can be shared) Detail scissors for trimming lace Rotary cutter and mat for cutting stem (can be shared) Straight pins Iron (can be shared) Teflon pressing cloth (can be shared) Thread (background color) Variegated green thread Clear thread Safety pins for basting Sewing Machine and cord etc. Free motion or darning foot *Depending on your speed, you may not get to the sewing part of this class and wouldn't need your sewing machine and thread etc at class.
