Rub Out Pads are for all maintenance operations using floor machines in institutional, commercial and industrial locations. They are used wet with conventional scrubbing machines or automatic scrubbers. They have been shown to work well with the Windsor Chariot iScrub, Tenant T-16 Eco H20, and Taski Swingo series automatic scrubbers amongst others. They are ideally suited to chemical free cleaning programs. The pads are made of open-cell melamine foam laminated with polyester resin. The colored resin provides a resilient backing to allow complete and thorough contact with the floor. The properties of the white melamine foam create a high level of friction and must be used with water or neutral cleaner to maximize performance and longevity. Use of excessive detergent will decrease productivity. Melamine pads are chemically inert, and create an environmentally responsible process requiring only water. The pads reduce time, and costs.
DIRECTIONS FOR USING MELAMINE FLOOR PADS
Always saturate pad with water or neutral cleaner before use.
Apply colored polyester side of floor pad to drive pad of automatic scrubber or floor machine. White melamine side will face down toward floor.
Wet floor with water to reduce friction and early wear of pad.
Avoid rough, uneven surfaces such as raised aggregate stone, or unpolished concrete. Do not use on raised rubber floors.
Advantages 1. Flexible properties dig into depressions untouched by traditional pads. 2. Resists glazing 3. Effective mark and stain removal without using harsh chemicals. 4. Even distribution of abrasive throughout pad. Discard when melamine is worn away.
Benefits 1. Labor savings 2. Environmentally responsible 3. Superior cleaning on porous surfaces. 4. Savings in floor finish usage during scrub and recoat. Procedure Burnishing Polishing
