Miniatures are shipped in lots of twenty (ie 20, 40 etc). All albums must be the same format (eg 3.5x2.5 vertical) but you can mix colours (ie some black, some silver). The 3.5x2.5 and 4.3x4.3 sizes are supplied in matching boxes, the 5x3.5 size in organza bags. You can order organza bags as an optional extra on the smaller sizes. Film for mounting is included loose so that you can vary the number of prints you include. Our standard freight rate applies (no accessory surcharge).

Although album design is charged as a separate order (on a per-image basis) you must order the album at the same time. You can specify how many pages you want in your album, or leave it to us. An average of 6-7 images per layout (two sides) will give you a good balance of larger and smaller images. The design will be emailed to you as both a QuickTime movie and an Album Report PDF for approval. We offer up to 8 individual image edits (changes to the size, position, treatment etc of a particular image) free of charge. Extra edits will be charged for. Please check your price list! Lower prices apply if you provide a Photojunction file with the images. To avoid extra charges, please ensure the images comply with our file specifications. Only send high-res files required for the album as you will be charged for all the images you submit.

(including high-res and low-res images). 1. All images must be rotated, grouped and sorted into the order in which you generally want them to appear in the album. 2. Any images not required in the album must be moved to the “Reject” categories. 3. Use the Notes function to highlight those images you want to feature or group together.

Photo front cover image safe area
Do not put any critical information (eg heads, text, borders) within 12mm (1/2-in) of the page edge of any album design (shown greyed out in the layouts above), especially if you intend to order a digital copy! 2-3mm (1/8-in) will be trimmed away from the edge during construction, and scaling down for the copy album will reduce that safety margin by two thirds or even more. We take no responsibility for the loss of critical image data placed too close to the layout edge. Photo safe guides in PJ Remix show the area you should keep clear of critical data.
Photo safe area on front covers (left) Allow 15mm bleed on the top, bottom and right of the cover image. The white area shows the part of the image that will be visible in the finished album. The shaded area wraps around inside the front cover. Please make sure all parts of the image that you want to be visible are contained inside the image safe area. PJ Remix’s photo safe guides will help you avoid errors.
Wing Pages: We do not recommed putting wing pages on the left side of a layout, as the wing will fall open when turning the page, which could damage it.
Double Flips:
We do not recommend placing images across the spine in double flip pages, because the gap across the spine is approx 1/2” (10mm). It is OK to place panoramic images on the inside of flips, as shown.

In the illustrations above, the semi-transparent area of the image will be wrapped around the inside front cover. To allow for this, choosing the right cover image for the album is very important, especially when you intend to order copy albums from the large feature album. That’s because more of the image will be lost when scaling down. We suggest not having critical parts of the image close to the edges (notice how close to the edge the bride’s head is on the copy album). Use PJ Remix’s photo-safe guides for guidance.

Miniatures are shipped in lots of twenty (ie 20, 40 etc). All albums must be the same format (eg 3.5x2.5 vertical) but you can mix colours (ie some black, some silver). The 3.5x2.5 and 4.3x4.3 sizes are supplied in matching boxes, the 5x3.5 size in organza bags. You can order organza bags as an optional extra on the smaller sizes. Film for mounting is included loose so that you can vary the number of prints you include. Our standard freight rate applies (no accessory surcharge).

Although album design is charged as a separate order (on a per-image basis) you must order the album at the same time. You can specify how many pages you want in your album, or leave it to us. An average of 6-7 images per layout (two sides) will give you a good balance of larger and smaller images. The design will be emailed to you as both a QuickTime movie and an Album Report PDF for approval. We offer up to 8 individual image edits (changes to the size, position, treatment etc of a particular image) free of charge. Extra edits will be charged for. Please check your price list! Lower prices apply if you provide a Photojunction file with the images. To avoid extra charges, please ensure the images comply with our file specifications. Only send high-res files required for the album as you will be charged for all the images you submit.

Any images not required in the album must be moved to the “Reject” categories. 3. Use the Notes function to highlight those images you want to feature or group together.

Photo front cover image safe area
Do not put any critical information (eg heads, text, borders) within 12mm (1/2-in) of the page edge of any album design (shown greyed out in the layouts above), especially if you intend to order a digital copy! 2-3mm (1/8-in) will be trimmed away from the edge during construction, and scaling down for the copy album will reduce that safety margin by two thirds or even more. We take no responsibility for the loss of critical image data placed too close to the layout edge. Photo safe guides in PJ Remix show the area you should keep clear of critical data.
Photo safe area on front covers (left) Allow 15mm bleed on the top, bottom and right of the cover image. The white area shows the part of the image that will be visible in the finished album. The shaded area wraps around inside the front cover. Please make sure all parts of the image that you want to be visible are contained inside the image safe area. PJ Remix’s photo safe guides will help you avoid errors.
Wing Pages: We do not recommed putting wing pages on the left side of a layout, as the wing will fall open when turning the page, which could damage it.
Double Flips:
We do not recommend placing images across the spine in double flip pages, because the gap across the spine is approx 1/2” (10mm). It is OK to place panoramic images on the inside of flips, as shown.

In the illustrations above, the semi-transparent area of the image will be wrapped around the inside front cover. To allow for this, choosing the right cover image for the album is very important, especially when you intend to order copy albums from the large feature album. That’s because more of the image will be lost when scaling down. We suggest not having critical parts of the image close to the edges (notice how close to the edge the bride’s head is on the copy album). Use PJ Remix’s photo-safe guides for guidance.
