About the ShoreTel Paging Adapter The ShoreTel Paging Adapter PA-1 provides transformer-coupled line level audio between a ShoreTel Voice Switch and a paging system. The ShoreTel Paging Adapter mitigates 50/60Hz and ground noise found in some paging installations. The ShoreTel Paging Adapter is compatible with all ShoreTel switches with paging ports. The ShoreTel Paging Adapter also includes a solid-state, contact closure relay output. The normally open relay provides optional keying to contact-closure capable paging systems. The contact closure feature is supported by ShoreTel ST model voice switches.

Connecting the ShoreTel Paging Adapter
1. Connect audio conductors from the paging adapter

(Optional) Connect the paging adapter contact closure screw terminals to the paging system contact closure wiring.
